Golfing around Loch Lomond

You've probably heard that Scotland is the home of golf. If you don't believe us then come and visit Loch Lomond and enjoy some stunning rounds of golf within the scenic Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Throughout the summer months, Scotland experiences long hours of daylight, lasting from 5am through until 10pm at night. This gives you the opportunity to try out courses at different times of the day and easily enjoy more than one round each day.

One of the highlights of golfing around Loch Lomond is playing a round on Loch Lomond Golf Club, well known for hosting the Scottish Open each year in July. This attracts golf fans from all over the world and normally hosts many of the big names in golf, especially since the Scottish Open is not before the main Open event each year.

You don't need to play such reknowned courses though. There are plenty of other courses to choose from. These include:

Buchanan Castle Golf Club

Callander Golf Club

St Fillans Golf Course

Nestling in the heart of Perthshire, in one of the most beautiful parts of Scotland with magnificent lochs and towering mountains, the village of St Fillans sits at the eastern end of Loch Earn. Tucked away across the River Earn is the 9-hole St Fillans course. It's a short 32 mile drive from Loch Lomond Lodges to St Fillans Golf Club.
